We invite you to connect with fellow students, alumni, faculty, and staff of JHU at the 2nd annual Symposium on Christian Faith, Reason, and Vocation. This year, we will be exploring the intersection of the Christian faith with emerging ethical questions in various professions. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nigel Cameron, president of the Center for Policy on Emerging Technologies, will give the keynote talk titled "Can We Stay Human in the Digital Age?" The keynote will be followed by panels diving deeper into the implications of Christianity for ethical questions in a wide range of disciplines and career fields. A more detailed program is given below.

ABOUT OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER
As an influential bioethicist, Dr. Nigel Cameron has served in diverse roles including Distinguished Professor of Theology and Culture at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Professor and Associate Dean at Chicago-Kent College of Law in the Illinois Institute of Technology, bioethics advisor on US delegations to the United Nation, and chair of the board of the Center for Bioethics in the Church. He is the author of many books including Will Robots Take Your Job? and How to be a Christian in a Brave New World (co-authored with Joni Eareckson Tada). He also co-edited Human Dignity in the Biotech Century: A Christian Vision for Public Policy with Charles Colson.
